Installation (Recommended)
Install from the Chrome Web Store
- Open the Peace & Quiet listing in the Chrome Web Store
- Click Add to Chrome
- Confirm Add extension
That’s it – now visit Your LinkedIn Feed
and the extension will begin working automatically.
Using the extension
What you’ll see
- Muted posts appear with a calm overlay and banner
- The feed remains scrollable
- Nothing is deleted – just softened
Reveal any post
- Click Show on the banner to restore the original post
Adjust sensitivity
- Click the extension icon
- Move the Sensitivity slider
- Press Re-scan feed to re-evaluate visible posts
Drag Right for Higher value = fewer posts muted
Drag Left for Lower value = stricter filtering for max zen!

- No data collection
- No tracking or analytics
- No external APIs
- No network requests
- All processing happens locally in your browser

Nothing appears muted?
- Refresh LinkedIn
- Scroll further in the feed
- Click the extension → Re-scan feed
Want to pause it?
- Disable the extension from Chrome’s Extensions menu
Optional: Manual installation (advanced)
- Unzip the extension folder
- Open:
chrome://extensions
- Enable Developer mode
- Click Load unpacked
- Select the extension folder
